I am a Senior Research Scientist at Adobe Paris since June 2024. Before that, I was Juan de la Cierva Fellow at the MSLab of the URJC and a Director at SEDDI (Madrid) where I led a technology team with expertise in render, optical capture, and AI. During 2016-2018, I was Postdoctoral researcher in Technicolor R&D (France) working with Erik Reinhard. I completed my PhD in 2016 in the Graphics and Imaging Lab of the University of Zaragoza (Spain) supervised by Prof. Dr. Diego Gutierrez. During my PhD I had the opportunity to intern twice at Adobe Research (San Jose & Seattle, US). I proudly received the 2017 Premio de Investigación de la Sociedad Científica Informática de España y Fundación BBVA.
My research interests span the fields of computer graphics, computer vision, and applied machine learning. In particular, I currently work on digitization (optics & physics) of fabric materials, machine learning-based simulations of garments, and 3D scene reconstruction.
I am actively looking for Master/PhD students interested in doing an internship in Adobe Paris along 2025. Please, write me an email if you are interested!
