I am a Senior Researcher and Manager at SEDDI (Madrid) where I lead the optical capture and rendering teams. Before that, I was a Juan de la Cierva Fellow at MSLab of the URJC, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Technicolor R&D (France) led by Dr. Erik Reinhard. I completed my Ph.D. in 2016 in the Graphics and Imaging Lab of the University of Zaragoza (Spain) advised by Prof. Diego Gutierrez. During my Ph.D. I had the opportunity to intern twice at Adobe Research (San Jose & Seattle, US), where I had great experiences collaborating with Sunil Hadap, Aseem Agarwala and Aaron Hertzmann.
My research interests span the fields of computer graphics, computer vision, and applied machine learning. In particular, I currently work on digitizing fabric materials for the Fashion Industry, as well as machine learning-based simulations of avatars, in collaboration with Dan Casas.
